Littledale Rules

  • Camps should be conducted in accordance with normal Scouting standards.
  • Vehicles must be kept in the car parks. They must not go on the main field and must not be parked on the roadside by the top fields.
  • Standing timber must not be cut.
  • Wet pits, dry pits or fire places must not be dug on the Main, Low or Flood Plain camping areas. Non‑burnable rubbish to be bagged and left in the special area by the gate.
  • Toilet and Shower block should be kept and left in a clean condition please.
  • Stone throwing into the beck will not be tolerated. Leaders please note, part of the beck can be dangerous in certain conditions.
  • There are dangerous cliffs on the Camp Site. Will all Leaders please tell your campers not to wander off on their own and to take care when near them.
  • Most of the damage is found to be in or around the Lodge. Beds and dormitories are to be used only for sleeping and quiet activities, not for boisterous games. Leaders must ensure that people are not disturbed at night.
  • Any damage done will be charged for.
  • No dogs, other than assistance dogs, are allowed on the campsite.
  • Caravans and Motor homes are not allowed on the campsite.
