Littledale Activity Centre Working Day

The aim was to provide proper drainage to the top field, which despite previous efforts, still held a lot of water. It had been arranged for 60 tonnes of hardcore and over 200 metres of drainage pipe to be delivered to site for installing that weekend. Powered machinery was also hired to ensure that the task was completed in time, Unfortunately we still had an awful lot of 'pick and shovel' work to do. Luckily Kevin had arranged for ideal weather for the weekend, it was quite warm and sunny but the strong north wind kept us all fairly cool.
