St George's Day Parade 2010
On a pleasant Spring evening Scouts from around the District assembled at Morecambe Town Hall prior to marching to the Central Methodist Church for their annual service and renewal of promises.
A large congregation filled the church and after the presentation of flags and singing of hymns the District Chaplain Rev. Debbie Peatman gave an interesting and inspiring talk on the life of our patron saint St George and what he stood for.
Presentations of Chief Scout's Award certificates took place at the close of the service.
