Swimming Gala 2008
On behalf of Lonsdale District I would like to thank all participants and supporters for a fantastic swimming gala.
The staff at Salt Ayre were very impressed at our behaviour and sportsmanship. The participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves and so did the staff.
I would also like to thank Chris and Marcus Buchanan and Paul Chroker - young leaders from 33rd Lancaster and Scott Prichard and Hayden Williams young leaders from 13th Lancaster for their help in time keeping and running, Pat, Jackie, Mark, Paul, Geoff, Pat and Craig, Pierre, Kate Brindley and Mrs. Cavaliere, Tess Barcus and Carol Mudd and Mrs. Jane Pailin. these people helped with the organisation and the smooth running of the event.
I would also like to thank all the leaders and parents who were time keepers. This is a full team effort and you are to be congratulated.

The County Helme Shield swimming gala is in November, date to be forwarded. A District team will be formulated from the times and results of the above. All participants will be notified in due course.
