Lonsdale Centenary - Exhibition in the City Museum, Lancaster
Courtesy of the Assistant Curator a small exhibition has been placed on the first floor of the City Museum in Market Square to celebrate 100 years of Scouting in Lancaster, Morecambe & District.
So why not pop along and take a look. There are also lots more displays illustrating the history of the local area as well as a section on the local regiment - the King's Own.
Items
on display include the original minute book of the L & M
Scoutmasters Association; features on the woggle, badges and the
Cornwell Scout badge.
Display
boards featuring the Scout Law and Promise 1910 and 2010; photos of
Lancaster's first Scouts; uniforms through the years and Lonsdale
today.
There
is also a digital photo gallery, a feature on B-P and the City
Shield from 1937.
