SCOUTS CAMP.

Six members of the 1st Silverdale Scout Troop in charge of Troop Leader Denis Cooper (King’s Scout) have been camping for a week at Greenhalgh Farm, Garstang, returning on Thursday. During their stay the Scouts had the opportunity of meeting their former Scoutmaster (Rev. H. W. Benson). On the Sunday morning the Scouts attended St. Thomas’ Church and after the service visited the Vicarage on the invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Benson. Mr. Benson visited the camp, and on the Wednesday, took the Scouts for a ten mile walk. On Tuesday the Scouts helped the farmer to weed his potatoes.

MIDDLETON SCOUTS CAMP.

The 8th Middleton Grammar School Troop of Boy Scouts have been in camp for nearly a fortnight at Lindeth Lodge Farm. They number 43 and are in charge of Scoutmaster E. N. Turner and Troop Leader H. Mills, The Scouts have attended the morning services at the Parish Church during their stay.
