Red Rose 2008

Members of the 5th Lancaster Scout Group attended the West Lancashire Scout Red Rose Camp in Canada as part of a 101 Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders.
The two weeks were varied with two different campsites with Haliburton turning out to the best site with an abundance of activities including the daily canoe trip to the shop for food.
Various day trips where organised with the most notable to the Algonquin Provincial Park. Wildlife was fantastic with the odd wolf visiting each of our campsites and very hungry racoons at Woodland Trails helping them selves to our food.
Everyone had a good time and well worth the visit.
