Carnforth Boy Scouts

The 2nd Carnforth (Congregational) Scout Group and Wolf Cub Pack held a successful jumble sale in the lecture room on Friday. Mr. T. Lambert acted as salesman, Scoutmaster A. Moore being in charge.
The boys mothers provided refreshments the effort realising £5 12s 6d.

Boy Scouts Supper

The 6th Lancaster (Greaves Wesley) Troop of Boy Scouts held a potato pie supper at the Greaves Wesleyan Schoolroom on Wednesday evening. After the supper a thrilling evening was spent by artistes and audience alike, all gathering around the “camp fire” where the Troop gave a fine entertainment.

FOR BOY SCOUTS

A whist drive in connection with the Slyne and Hest Bank Scouts and Wolf Cubs was held at the residence of Mr. T. Mawson, “Applegarth”, Hest Bank on Wednesday night.
Prizes were won by Miss Wilson, Mrs. W. Foster, Mr. Walker, Mrs. Barrow; Mr. Wiggins Scoutmaster was MC and the Wolf Cubs deputised as waiters for the refreshments performing their duties very creditably.
Miss M. Mawson Cub-mistress thanked all those who had assisted in her in preparation for the whist drive and also those who had attended same to back them up in the building up a troop of Boy Scouts in Slyne and Hest Bank.
