District Youth Commissioner

Search for a new District Youth Commissioner

Daniel Coulthard will complete his successful term, as our District’s first ever Youth Commissioner at the end of September. I am hugely grateful to Dan, for the time, effort and energy he has brought to the role. It is now time to look to the future and appoint a new District Youth Commissioner to lead our youth involvement work in the years to come.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Scouting, enthusiastic, and can be an excellent ambassador for Scouting in Lonsdale. We also want someone who isn’t afraid of hard work, and can deliver results.  As District Youth Commissioner, you will be a member of the District Executive Committee and the District Team. If you are an excellent communicator, with people of all ages, and you are passionate about ensuring young people are involved in meaningful decision making, at every level of our organisation, then we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, please email me, answering the following questions:

  1. What is your proudest Scouting moment?
  2. What skills do you have for the role?
  3. How would you develop youth shaped Scouting in Lonsdale?

Please send emails to dc@lonsdalescouts.org.uk no later than Sunday 3rd September.

With Best Wishes
