Leaders and Assistant Leaders need to do Essential Information, Safety, Safeguarding, General Data Protection Regulations and Tools for the Role. If you are going to sit on the Group Executive you should also do the Trustee Introduction.

Each of these modules is a separate course, each run over a single session on Zoom. Once you have completed the Zoom courses and any associated work your should contact the Local Training Manager to get validated.

First Aid/First Response
The Scout Association has set up a Blended Learning system to allow leaders to undertake First Response Training.
Part 1 consists of a number of online training videos and assessments which can be found here:
Part 2 consists of a session with the West Lancs First Aid Trainers via Zoom. Please let us know when you have completed Part 1 and we will add you to the list for these sessions.
Part 3 is a short face-to-face assessment session for key practical skills. It should last about 20 minutes and will take place once we are able to offer this.
Part 1 and Part 2 complete Module 10A, Part 3 completes Module 10B.
