LANCASTER BOY SCOUTS’ COLOURS
At Lancaster Parish Church yesterday morning, the Vicar, Rev. J. W. N. Bardsley, who was assisted by the Rev. E Shufflebotham., consecrated and dedicated the troop and King’s colours of the 7th Lancaster (Parish Church) troop of Boy Scouts. There wre upwards of 50 Scouts on parade, Scoutmaster Hodgson being in charge, and other officers present being Assistant Scoutmasters, Hodgson, B. Denwood, and J. Holmes. The two latter received the colours from Mrs Hodgson (troop) and Mrs Stephenson (King’s) after they had been dedicated.
