Salvation Army week-end services

Lancaster Guardian 02 February 1951:

Captain W. Jones, of Tipton, conducted the week-end services at the Salvation Army Hall, Lancaster, which commenced with a programme of vocal and instrumental items and recitations given by the young people.

The distribution of prizes for good attendance during 1950 was made on Monday night by Mr. H. Todd, Assistant District Commissioner of  Boy Scouts.

Mr. Todd also presented the Salvation Army Scouts, 29th Lancaster Troop, with a Union Jack, which, in turn, was presented to the troop by J. Halliday, Leader and Capt. Jones. 

The services were prepared by Senior Capt. Smith and Capt. Rochelle.
