From the North:
Leave the M6 at Junction 35, take the 1st exit signposted ‘Over Kellet Quarries / Kirkby Lonsdale’ – then as below**.
From the South:
Leave M6 at junction 35, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted ‘Over Kellet Quarries / Kirkby Lonsdale’
**Follow signs for Carnforth through the first set of traffic lights over the Canal Bridge to the second set of lights.
Go straight on through the centre of Carnforth and over the railway bridge, follow the main road for about 1 mile to the approach to Warton. At the junction, where the road bends right take the left hand turn, signposted Silverdale.
Follow the twisting country road for 3 miles and over the ‘Level Crossing’.
At the triangle turn right signposted ‘R.S.P.B.’ / Arnside. Then take the first turn left onto ‘The Row’. Immediately before the ’30 mph.’ signs turn left onto the site.
If approaching from Arnside/Kendal direction (i.e. from the northern end of “The Row”/ junction with Red Bridge Lane) follow the twisting lane for 800m and immediately after the ’30 mph.’ zone ending signs turn right onto the site.
