On Saturday 26th May Littledale Scout Campsite was overrun with 100 Beaver Scouts, aged 6-8, who had set out in glorious weather to complete their adventure challenge. Throughout the day boys and girls from across Lonsdale District took part in a range of activities including: archery, bouldering, cooking on an open fire, knot tying with sweets, team games, shelter building and a treasure hunt.
The day also marked the first event organised by the new District Beaver Scout Team as the section welcomed them to their new roles with Catherine Marsh as Assistant District Commissioner for Beaver Scouts. Catherine is joined by District Leaders: Mandy Seddon; Kerry Willingham; Lindsey Hall; Lesley Sayer and David Wilkinson.
