District Camp 2014

‘District Camp’, Littledale Scout Campsite: 19-21st September – ‘Around the World’

Coming together as a District really opens up young peoples eyes to the enormity of Scouting and the opportunities it provides. It allows young people and adults to come together and celebrate this great game of Scouting. It is no coincidence that in the years following our previous two District Camps we enjoyed membership growth. So, I write with the details for the next one, and do hope that you will join us…

The Details:
Littledale Scout Campsite

The Cost:
With the exception of the Saturday night meal which will be provided centrally groups will need to arrange their own catering. Don’t worry if you don’t have catering equipment, at the planning meeting we will pair groups up so there is a spread of experience and equipment. We are keen to support leaders taking children camping for the first time.

Beaver Day Visit (Including Coach) Saturday. £10
Beaver Over-night visit – camping with their group. (Not including a coach) Saturday until Sunday lunchtime. £10

There will be a planning meeting for all leaders on the 15th July for All Leaders at 7.30pm at District HQ. Final information will be made available then. All names and numbers must be confirmed by that date.

It’s going to be a fantastic weekend and I sincerely hope that you can make it…the more, the merrier!
