There will be a one day First Aid course in Lonsdale (venue and times to be arranged) on Saturday 11th August. The cost will be around £33 pp (depending on how many participants book). Application forms can be downloaded below and should arrive no later than Friday 28th July (send to Carolyn Blyth LTM, details in the District Directory). If there are not enough takers for this course then it will have to be cancelled.
GSL’s please check all your leaders records and if their First Aid needs to be renewed in the next 3/4 months then encourage them to book on this course if they are able to attend.
Update:
As we have only had 2 applicants for the above course and the closing date has now passed, I am sorry, but I will have to cancel this course. The minimum viable number for the course to run is 6 and, although there are a number of leaders in the District who’s First Aid certificates either have run out or are due to run out, I have not had sufficient applicants.
I will arrange a further course and will post the date on the Lonsdale Scout website in due course.
