Search for a New Group Scout Leader for 16th Lancaster (St. Paul’s) Scout Group
After a wonderful term of office, Jim Holland has decided to stand down from his post as Acting Group Scout Leader. I want to thank Jim for his outstanding service to the Group.
We are now looking for a highly motivated volunteer who can support the adult volunteers at 16th Lancaster (St. Paul’s) and can lead the Group to an even more successful future. For decades, 16th Lancaster (St. Paul’s) Scout Group has provided young people in the local area with a fantastic Scouting adventure. We are now looking for a lead volunteer- a Group Scout Leader.
The role description is outlined in the information pack (below), but it’s important to note that this is a flexible Scouting role, and we are looking for someone who can grow the existing volunteer team – so parts of the role can be shared too. No prior experience of Scouting is necessary as full training and support will be offered, but good communication skills, an ability to work with a wide range of people and a passion for ensuring that our young people get the very best experiences is essential.
If you’d like to self-nominate, or nominate somebody else for this role then please contact Jon or Mandy no later than the 31st January.
