SCOUTS’ NEW YEAR PARTY

The 1st Silverdale Troop of Boy Scouts were entertained recently to their second New Year’s party by their Scoutmaster (Rev. H. W. Benson) in the Scouts’ Hut. Tea was served and afterwards a programme of games was greatly enjoyed under the direction of Mr. Benson. During the proceedings a cigarette case was presented to Mr. Benson by Scout Denis Cooper on behalf of the 1st Silverdale Troop.
