Mandatory Training @Home

There are three pieces of Mandatory Training that all leaders need to keep up to date with.

Usually these are Safety and Safeguarding every five years and First Aid every three years.

Soon you will be required to do Safety and Safeguarding every three years too.

New Leaders need to do Module 1 to cover Safety and Safeguarding(click here), everyone else needs to complete the refresher training when it becomes due.

Additionally, all leaders must do GDPR training. This is a one off training course.

Safety

This training will last approximately 35 minutes. It is in three sections. When you have finished, screenshot, photograph or print and copy the certificate and forward it to training@lonsdalescouts.org.uk.

Safeguarding

Complete the online learning at https://learning.scouts.org.uk/safeguarding/index.html#/

The course should last approximately 1 hour, and needs to be completed in one sitting. When you have finished, screenshot, photograph or print and copy the certificate and forward it to training@lonsdalescouts.org.uk.

First Aid/First Response

Sadly, this training can only take place in a training environment. It is not available online. Please keep an eye on our Course Booking page for new dates.

GDPR

All roles in Scouting are required to do the online GDPR learning.
